You can now purchase the Album Floating Petals!
This collection of compositions were created when you are in a pensive, contemplative mood. You could be snorkeling on a coral reef or watching dolphins frolick in the sea. Or you could be having your morning cup of tea watching the lightbeams creep into the room. Or you could be walking among the blossoms of spring marveling at the coming of Spring!
1. Floating Petals
Inspired by the quiet beauty of lotus flowers floating in temple ponds across Asia.
2. Coral Reef
I love snorkeling and swimming among the fish above a reef. This music is inspired by the feeling of being one of them.
3. Haiku Harry
This tune is a tribute to a dear friend, remarkable human being, and gifted musician and actor. I met Harry when I lived in a place we called “The Hill,” located atop a hill in Marin County, just north of San Francisco almost 60yrs ago. Musicians, actors, and artists all lived there, and music filled the air 24/7.
Later, Harry emigrated to New York City with playwright Peter Coyote, where they became fixtures in the NYC theater scene. Harry is still acting at 91 years young.
We have stayed in touch ever since, exchanging postcards and conversations across the miles. There is nothing better in life than having a great friend—someone you can talk with and then pick up a conversation from three months ago without skipping a beat.
4. Morning Light
Perched on a mountain rock as the morning light rises and spreads across the sky.
5. Light Beams
Seated in a quiet room as lightbeams drift and bloom across the floor.
6. Spring At Last
The music conjures up the feeling of the coming of spring. After a long freezing winter, the sun shines brightly and warmly. The flowers are blooming and anything can be possible!
